I’m posting a liberal example. POTUS got goaded out of early compromise by Coulter and Bannon and Limbaugh, we’re told, but here’s Politico trying to goad Mr. Trump the other way. Or do Coulter and Bannon and Limbaugh not count as media ? Gotta sift all of it for the kernels of truth, says I. Your thoughts?

edit: Oh, and it is absolutely not homophobic to imply the blackmail material is - direct quote - “pretty serious sexual kink.” That’s not implying anything other than an embarrassing (or illegal) sexual proclivity.

Given the terrorist party has run around screaming about making being gay illegal while cheerfully hosting and promoting actual child molesters, and many of their most vocal and violent “kill the gays!!” champions were later outed as homosexual? This is great - he canceled her week-long international trip as retaliation for threatening to stop the State of the Union address. I don’t see this as media goading, more like two 70+ yr olds behaving like feuding high school chee rleaders.

No, the headline was changed after I made the post. When I posted, it said, “No reaction from Trump 24 hours after Pelosi’s disinvite.” Or similar. Which, coming from liberal media, struck me as a dare issued to Trump.

But why would Nancy Pelosi want to go abroad for a week with the government shut down anyhow?

Somewhere along the line, someone told me that in any negotiation, the person who gives the first number surrenders the negotiation.

I do not think I have watched ten minutes of SOTU, in aggregate, in all my 54 years of life.
